Lucknow – A spectacular Summer Carnival 2025 is all set to enthrall the people of Lucknow from May 30 to June 24 at UP Darshan Park, Gomti Nagar, jointly organized by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), JETAC, and Pragati Events. This announcement was made by the event coordinator Vinod Kumar Singh during a press conference held at UP Darshan Park.
Singh said the 26-day extravaganza will offer a vibrant mix of entertainment, culture, and creative experiences for people of all age groups. A major highlight will be the miniature models of 16 iconic monuments from across Uttar Pradesh, celebrating the cultural heritage of the state.
To promote local artisans and small industries, the carnival will feature a dedicated exhibition zone with stalls showcasing handlooms, handicrafts, Khadi products, electronics, Saharanpur furniture, Firozabad glass bangles, Bhadohi carpets, along with homemade pickles, papads, spices, crockery, toys, dry fruits, and other household items.
NB Singh, another key organiser, shared that every evening will host a cultural program, themed around various regional art forms of India. Attendees can look forward to Awadhi Nights, Brij Nights, Punjabi Nights, Bundeli Nights, Rajasthani Nights, Bhojpuri Nights, and Bollywood Nights. Literary lovers will also be treated to Kavi Sammelans, Mushairas, and performances of magic shows, puppet plays, Birha, and Alha folk traditions.
The food court will offer a gastronomic delight with cuisines ranging from Rajasthani, Punjabi, South Indian, Chinese, Awadhi-Mughlai to popular street food like chaat, golgappas, and momos.
For children and thrill-seekers, the fun zone will have a range of modern and exciting rides. Speaking at the event, Smita Sharma, head of operations at Pan India Theme Park Facilities, expressed enthusiasm about the public response and said the carnival is aimed at creating a unique, family-friendly summer experience in Lucknow.
With a fusion of heritage, shopping, food, and fun, the Summer Carnival 2025 at UP Darshan Park promises to be an unforgettable summer destination for Lucknowites and tourists alike.
